Leech Farm & Hirudo Medicinalis

The medicinal leech has become an endangered species on all over the world because of many reasons such as great changers in nature due to draining wetlands and unconscious collection has done. On the other hand, the medicinal leeches, Hirudo Medicinalis and Hirudo Verbana which are known to suck human blood for the several benefits that they provide to human beings have been used with an increasing amounth of demand in modern medicine and cosmetics during last few decedes. These two main realities caused a great deficit between supply and demand balance of medicinal leeches. That's why the requirement for cultivating medicinal leeches at the breeding farms has occured as a solution.
	After researching and studying on breeding medicinal leeches for many years we achieved a wonderfull success now. In year 2008 at the beginning we started breeding by a few leeches and at the moment we have more than 3000 kilograms of leeches. without adding any leeches from outside. We are ready for serving with full capacity to meet the needs of all clients who ever require leeches for medical purposes. We are happy to be at the peak of success on cultivation of leeches. We would like to share this honor with all our custemers.
